This, at the very least, as Torc mentions in the referenced edit, is a problem with accepting an "empty" edit note that is nothing more than the initial prompt "Add an edit note".
As far as the submission of such for each entry on the page, I am not sure whether this is a function of my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S Android phone bundled browser ((latest) firmware version 2.1-update1), the web service or a combination of the two.
I believe that my behavior (see edit notes) is correct.
