Since a while ago, pasting an MBID on a search field often doesn't just select the appropriate entity, but also initiates a search, using whatever was on the field before pasting the URL. Which means if I try to change an artist and just press Enter (to try and enter a recording edit for example), it will select the search result instead, going back to the original artist - which means I'm annoyingly forced to cancel the search first and then enter the edit. There's no good reason for this behaviour to exist (can't think of a single case where it'd be the desired one) so we should fix it.
