Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0 CPython 3.7.6
Picard 2.3.1, Python 3.7.6, PyQt 5.14.1, Qt 5.14.1, Mutagen 1.44.0, Discid discid 1.2.0, libdiscid 0.6.2, astrcmp C, SSL OpenSSL 1.1.1b 26 Feb 2019
Picard crashes (or silently exits) when I try to process a folder containing ~9000 files. I have watched the "private bytes" value using Performance Monitor and I find that this happens when it reaches a bit less than 300 MB. I attach logs for 3 runs. The final, maximum value recorded for private bytes in each case is:
picard-log1.txt: 282,034,176
picard-log2.txt: 291,217,408
picard-log3.txt: 290,304,000
There's nothing obvious from the logs that I can see, it just seems to be related to memory usage. The computer has 12 GB RAM and plenty is available.
