macOS 12.4, MacBook Pro, Apple M1 Max CPU. Fresh install of Picard 2.8.1.
The colour swatches are not coloured in Options > User Interface > Colours dialogue, on my macOS 12.4 laptop.
How to reproduce:
Run Picard.
From the Picard menu, select Preferences. The Options dialogue appears.
Select the User Interface tab, then the Colours subtab. The right part of the Options dialogue shows 10 labels, each with a rectangular swatch to the right.
Click on a swatch. A system colour picker dialogue appears, showing the expected colour, which is not white.
Click OK in the colour picker dialogue. It disappears.
Observed behaviour: each of the swatches is white. It remains white after the colour picker closes.
Expected behaviour: when list of colours appears, each of the swatches displays the (non-white) colour assigned to it. When the user changes the colour with the colour picker, the swatch changes to display the new colour.
I am attaching a screen grab, "Swatches uncoloured….png". It shows the swatches displaying white, and the colour picker for the first swatch, "Errored entity". The picker displays the expected red colour, but the swatch displays white instead.
