My library is tagged with a rather nonstandard format, and the default Picard lookup pattern doesn't really play well with the way my music is tagged. The thing is I can look the albums up using the "Search for similar albums" context if I use catalog numbers or swap around a few tag names.

As such, a configurable pattern to use for lookup queries (specifically, what goes behind when I click on the "Lookup button") can be hugely useful.

PICARD-2466 describes the same problem but what I think is more helpful in the long term is a fully customizable pattern instead of adding just one or two more hardcoded fields.
