An edit recently added "Alban Berg Quartett is a tribute to Alban Berg". Which is not true, not under our definition of tribute artists (which are basically one-artist cover bands) - but this might be information we want to store. "X was named after Y" seems like a sensible way of storing this which matches how Wikidata would do it.
