      to start, this is not for a parody cover release, where each track is a parody of a track on the original release, as there’s a relationship for that already.

      this is for cases where the release is a parody of another release, whether just the cover art, release title, or some other kind of response. we could have different attributes to differentiate different types of parodies (and to make it clear how this is different from a cover song parody release), but not imperative.

      some examples:

      again, none of these examples are song-for-song parody cover albums, save for “Weird Al” parodying Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on Off the Deep End and nothing else from Nevermind.
