Most hotels and convention centers in MusicBrainz are currently using the (music) venue place type, which is clearly not accurate because they are not "A place that has live artistic performances as one of its primary functions, such as a concert hall."

Rather than "Other", it seems like "Convention Center" should be a dedicated type.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convention_center says it's a "large building" with many rooms, where the rooms would include existing place types like music venues and indoor arenas.
