Unicode characters are being stripped out of item titles.

    • I check using Safari 6.0.2 (8536.26.17) and FireFox 19 on OS X 10.8.2.

      I came across a bug that for some reason unicode characters are being removed from album titles during editing.

      For example, the correct title for "Magical☆Shopping Arcade Abenobashi OST: Abenobashi Magical☆Music Mansion" should be "Magical⛦Shopping Arcade Abenobashi OST: Abenobashi Magical⛦Music Mansion" (with the ⛦ LEFT-HANDED INTERLACED PENTAGRAM Unicode: U+26E6, UTF-8: E2 9B A6 instead). What I ended up with after the edit was "MagicalShopping Arcade Abenobashi OST: Abenobashi MagicalMusic Mansion".

      I checked with other characters in the Miscellaneous Symbols plane, it seems the new additions from several years ago are being filtered or rejected somehow.

      The annotations field seems to be unaffected.
