      Searching for artists or records is a bit cumbersome because you have to manually specify what you're looking for. A unified search which returned relevant results from all types and then offered the option to only show results of a certain kind would be much appreciated.

      This has already been implemented in SEARCH (SEARCH-77) but since we're not actually exposing this and don't have anything using it either, it can be implemented in whatever ways is smartest for SOLR (with regards to output formatting etc.).
