I know this has been discussed in the past, but this edit brought this issue to the forefront again: we lack a release group type for cover albums. A cover album is an album made up entirely of covers of material originally recorded/performed by someone other than the artist performing the recording.
As specified in STYLE-539, tribute albums are cover albums made up of covers of one artist's material by one or more artists.
