Windows 10 Pro x64; NTFS via USB
I had files whose names were truncated to fit a path length during organizing on a simple USB hard drive and NTFS, then I copy/pasted them into a deeper directory, and suddenly MusicBrainz failed to load the ones that were greater than 259 characters long. Also, it was impossible for me to rename these files using File Explorer. You would think Microsoft would use their own updated API in their file explorer. Guess not.
We should implement the [updated] Unicode Windows pathname API calls mentioned here:
